Bilingual Operations Associate

As the new Bilingual Operations Associate, aka Perkbuilder, you will be taking on a brand new role. This is part marketing, part sales support and all customer success. You will be a key player on our team, building perks, writing content and providing one-on-one customer support. From report-generating to swag inventory and preparation; from building and testing perk programs in partnership with our vendors and clients to assembling briefs and ensuring the highest quality and value is being presented to our customers. You will contribute to our ongoing innovation as we help hundreds of thousands of Canadians save money and achieve health and happiness.

Who you are

You are fluently multilingual in French, English and shopping; if there is a great deal to be found, you can uncover it. A constant learner, you enjoy unearthing information and finding solutions. You have strengths in telephone, email and long-form written business and social media communications. You have customer service experience and a passion for helping people solve problems. You want to be part of a team where your ideas will be heard; more than data entry or basic administration. You want to work across departments supporting internal teams as well as customers. What our Bilingual Operations Associate will do on a daily basis

  • Build. You will, as part of the Operations team, work to understand customer expectations. You will build and roll out customer perks in partnership with our clients and our vendor partners.
  • Create. You will create advertising programs. You will leverage sales insights and collaborate with our customers to create adverts/website presence.
  • Research and analyse. You will reach out to internal teams and external partners to gather data and information. You will enter and analyse data, note trends and generate reports for the Sales team.
  • Quality control. You will test links and geotags. You will ensure accurate information is displayed on the website.
  • Be curious. You will pursue customer insights and actively contribute to our commitment to showcasing value to both our 1500+ vendor partners and thousands of end-users across the country.

  • The ideal combination of education and experience. You have a post-secondary degree and experience in customer service.
  • The language. You are fluently bilingual in French and English. You have an understanding of business, customer success and marketing.
  • The creative mindset. You are open-minded, creative and flexible.
  • The passion. You care deeply about the end-result and the end-user. You are motivated by creating a positive and successful experience for vendors and customers.
  • The collaborative communication skills. You can explain website navigation to non-technical audiences at any level. You are a team player who fits in as part of a cohesive cross-functional team.
